Activision Doesn't Expect Next Call Of Duty To Be As Successful

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has seen phenomenal sales but this didn't entice Activision Blizzard to expect similar success for the next title in the series.

Activision publishing President and Chief Executive Officer Mike Griffith admitted that the company has "not planned on repeating the same level of success on this year's title," mainly due to tougher competition next Christmas. Griffith was quick to note that the company will "bullish" on both performance and quality for the title.
